[SOCALWUG] monitoring solution

I’m doing a job for some clients (involving citrix) and would like to incorporate a monitoring solution that’s (linux based) hardware only preferred something similar to mrtg precompiled etc.  to monitor their wan usage.  Any thoughts comments or suggestions?
