For John Tully:

John,

Is level 4 and level 5 RouterOS 2.9 software now available for the
Routerboard 532?

Hello Jack,

L5 (RouterOS with wireless AP) is included with the RB500 now -- it is fully upgradable for one year. When v2.9 will be in full release in four weeks or so (not beta), then only L3 will be included and L4/5 will be an additional $25 estimated. For those that don't want the L3 (does not include wireless support) on the boards and want to use their own software or complete GPL Linux, they can deduct $0.01 from the price (it is already a very low price for such a board). The $140 price is list price. Resellers/OEM have reasonable discounts to this price.

John

If so, is it beta version?

Thanks,
              jack
