(cross-posted to soci-devel/soci-users)

Hi,

Due to family reasons and due to another project I need to grind,
I've slowed down the SOCI maintenance work recently.

I'm afraid I won't be able to pick it up and move forward before the
end of this year.
Although, I am still going to complete the task of
"Implementation of the new source tree layout"
https://github.com/SOCI/soci/pull/151

We've received lots number of patches, bug fixes and ideas.
I do realise there are people who are waiting for merges and updates,
and I don't want to hold the project back.

So, if there is anyone willing to take over the maintenance hat,
please step forward. I'd greatly appreciate that.

I'm not stepping down as SOCI maintainer (unless there is someone
who wants to take it over permanently, then let's discuss it).
I'm honestly hoping it's temporary situation and I will get things
going from Jan 2014.

Best regards,
