Hi,

Following the discussion triggered by Vadim's request [1] to
switch the default branch on GitHub, we're going to drop GitFlow
branching model, restore master as the development branch
and maintain release/X.Y branches along with X.Y.Z tags.

We hope to simplify the Pull Requests maintenance, especially, enable
quick merging of PRs that 1) make Travis CI green 2) pass peer review.

If no objections arrive during next week, we will flip the branches over.
