This is not a problem for this particular decision but I'm not sure if Mateusz has time for SOCI nowadays (at least I haven't heard from him since quite some time) and so you might need to take other decisions without him. Notably I'd like to do SOCI 4.0 release in some observable future (although I still want to get a few things into it, so "observable" doesn't necessarily mean "very close"...). Regards, VZ
