I'm not sure if tthis is a bug for users created after a particular
date/upgrade or if anyone on this list may be aware of some other server
failure on the gnusocial.net instance and can help me out.

In the past 20 days I have created an account @[email protected] at least
3 times, everytime using the same username and password, but a few days
later when I go to login again I get an error message indicating WRONG
USERNAME OR PASSWORD it appears it never existed becasue I can create a new
user with same username, password, and email address. I don’t know if this
is a bug with the GNU Social software running on that instance, or if
perhaps there has been some failure on gnusocial.net, perhaps something
that keeps requiring a reset to some earlier save point that happens to be
before my account was originally created. I doubt that’s the case though.
While none of my posts still appear to exist on the server (they do on some
other federated instances) I do see two replies to @[email protected] from
@[email protected]
