I think a simple RT won't work as well on the non-MediaWiki accounts, e.g. simply because among their more general audience, most won't know what GSOC means. How about:
T: @wikipedia, RT by @wikimedia Know a gifted student who'd like to code for Wikipedia? "URGENT call for geographical diversity in Wikimedia #GSOC" http://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikitech-l/2014-March/075222.html FB/G+: Know a gifted student interested in coding for Wikipedia/Wikimedia? Applications for our Google Summer of Code program close on March 21, and candidates from more countries are needed! http://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikitech-l/2014-March/075222.html On Thu, Mar 13, 2014 at 2:41 PM, James Alexander <[email protected]> wrote: > copying in public SM list for comment. > > James Alexander > Legal and Community Advocacy > Wikimedia Foundation > (415) 839-6885 x6716 @jamesofur > > > On Thu, Mar 13, 2014 at 2:38 PM, Quim Gil <[email protected]> wrote: >> >> Hi, please consider sharing these from the Wikimedia accounts.
