Australian Wikipedian User:Gnangarra (Gideon Digby) and a project he is supporting, Freopedia (a QRPedia project in Fremantle, Western Australia) have both been nominated for Western Australian Heritage Awards: http://awards.stateheritage.wa.gov.au/WAH2014/entry_details.asp?ID=12706&Category_ID=5838 http://awards.stateheritage.wa.gov.au/WAH2014/entry_details.asp?ID=12685&Category_ID=5835 The winners will be announced at an award dinner tonight (It's currently 2pm AWST) - in the event that one (or both) wins it would be great to get the official Wikimedia/Wikipedia accounts to share/retweet the news!
