I like the start of this, but "to bring an entire language online" is
overselling it, because there is already other online content in that
language (as mentioned in the post). I would suggest to use the
following on both Twitter and FB/G+:

40 million native speakers in Nepal and India. No Wikipedia. On the
work to launch the encyclopedia in Maithili:
