Hi,

There's a profile for Ukrainian Wikipedia at diasp.eu [1]
It lives for 25 days now and is not crowded with followers and/or content,
so can't be a positive example but take a look if you wish :)

I must say that diaspora works with hash-tags way better than FB (as they
are a great part of its functioning as such).
And it also renders .png images better, which is very pleasing.
