Wow, I never knew that, and I have actually installed Mepis for a school. I'll have to check that out. Maybe I should switch away from Linspire. They have such good device detection and can play lots of different media formats, including Windows media, etc. Plus they have a very very good, tight, robust community. But I'm always in favor of the cheaper, more modular solution. Heh. What kind of box do you use Mepis on? What do you use it for? Webbing, email, OOo, that sort of thing? Or to kinda just play around with?
