thanks. i wonder how much of a pain that is? ill try it this afternoon on a new test document i have.
btw, think updating to release 2.0 to 2.0.1 (SRC680_m145) will make a diff? kip -----Original Message----- From: Rigel [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, January 27, 2006 3:52 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [social] no more OO here I have another recommendation kip. Instead of stripping tables out of the document, it may be simpler to use OOo's specially engineered OLE engine to create the tables in a spreadsheet and then add them into the Writer document. In my experience, OOo does a better job of storing objects than refactoring mathematical data(the layout info) over and over again every time a format is added to a piece of text somewhere on some page in a 60 page document, table or otherwise. Worth a shot I suppose Rigel On 1/27/06, kipster <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > ill strip tables out of the doc and see what happens. ill use numbered *snip*
