And Bella Coola, British Columbia, Canada has Viking buildings dating from the
19th century. And I have a friend who's a Viking, at least acts like one. He
is Norwegian, talks funny when he's in the right mood, and is one h-ll of a
good guy.

There are documented artifacts and ruins from Vikings in Maine.

The lower Missisippi valley has artifacts and ruins that have been
construed as evidence of a Viking influence.

Baja California has 14th century Chinese artifacts.

I _think_ it was the Dahomey King who ordered an expedition to South
America in the eleventh century.
