Dear Linux CAN users,

due to the fact that BerliOS is closing it's services end of 2011, the
formerly two SocketCAN mailing lists

- SocketCAN Core (socketcan-core@lists.berlios.de)
- SocketCAN Users (socketcan-us...@lists.berlios.de)

are moving to a single mailing list at the kernel developers email list server

    vger.kernel.org

On vger.kernel.org there are many Linux lists now including a new

    'linux-can'

list for Linux Kernel CAN development, see at:

    http://vger.kernel.org/vger-lists.html#linux-can

Please click on the provided link to subscribe the new list for discussions on
Linux CAN ('SocketCAN') topics. You can ignore your E-Mail client probably
complaining about an 'empty subject' as the subscription is only sent in the
body of the subscription mail.

Many thanks to BerliOS and the guys from Fraunhofer FOKUS in Berlin for
hosting the SocketCAN development in the last years.

There's currently no mail archive bound to the new list. I requested
http://marc.info as linux-kernel and linux-netdev are also archived there (and
it is easy to browse even on mobile phones).

We should probably have a second archive (e.g. like gmane.org,
mail-archive.com, ...) which is presented more user friendly in the browser.
Any preferences out there?

Best regards,
Oliver
