Finally, it's done! The good news is that I can reproducibly netboot & FullInstall pfsense to a Net4801 with 'just' an HDD in it -- no CF-anything. PfSense WebGui is up, running & seemingly functional (I can't testify, *yet*, to a 'working firewall' ...)
