Ok. Presume the goal on these embedded platforms is to optimize as much as possible. The question remains. *IS*, CPUTYPE?=i586/mmx correct? recommended? in /etc/make.conf for the Net4801s? And, again, if so, what needs to be set in the Kernel config for similar optimization?
