I have a net5501 and would like to know the wiring too
- also for the purpose of shutting/down my OS (OpenBSD 4.0)

Always connecting another machine ( as console or via ssh )
for a clean shutdown is cumbersome.

  Subject: [Soekris] net4801 Software Reset

  Hi

I am looking at reading the Reset Switch on a net4801 from within FreeBSD 6.2
for the purpose of shutting down/restarting the system. I have enabled
Software Resets from the BIOS, but have yet been unable to determine how to
read the reset status from software. I believe the reset switch is connected
to GPIO18.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

  Thanks,
  Joshua Hyatt
