Howdy, Juan,

I use my MacBook Pro to connect to various serial consoles, and the
IOGear GUC232A (http://www.iogear.com/main.php?
loc=product&Item=GUC232A)is the USB-to-serial adapter that I use. It
was a bit of a pain to setup, but I don't remember the details at
this point. I've heard that the Keyspan USA-19HS (http://
www.keyspan.com/products/usa19hs/) works better.

As far as the Soekris devices are concerned, I use a null modem cable
and it works fine.

With regard to software, I use Minicom via MacPorts/
Darwinports. :) 'sudo port install minicom' to install, and 'sudo
minicom' to run. Be sure to plug in the USB-to-serial adapter
before you run minicom.

Good luck,
