Dear Sir/Madam,
I found the problem of mounting nfs. I want to
develop program via nfs using this commmand as
following.
cc_2:/# mount -t nfs 192.168.0.1:/home/myname /mnt
As a result, it can not work (I can not mount nfs). I
have tried to check portmap running by using this
command as below.
cc_2:/#rpcinfo -p
rpcinfo: can't contact portmapper: RPC: Remote
system error - Connection refused
I have tried to insert module portmap to my system
by using this following command.
cc_2:/# insmod /lib/modules/2.4.29-vesuvio/
build modules.generic_string
modules.pnpbiosmap
extra modules.ieee1394map modules.usbmap
kernel modules.isapnpmap pcmcia
misc modules.parportmap
modules.dep modules.pcimap
cc_2:/# insmod
/lib/modules/2.4.29-vesuvio/modules.parportmap
/lib/modules/2.4.29-vesuvio/modules.parportmap: cannot
read ELF header from /lib
/modules/2.4.29-vesuvio/modules.parportmap
I tried to find out portmap module by looking at
the other directory as following.
cc_2:/# insmod
/lib/modules/2.4.29-vesuvio/kernel/net/ipv4/netfilter/
arp_tables.o ip_tables.o ipt_pkttype.o
iptable_nat.o
arpt_mangle.o ipt_LOG.o ipt_state.o
arptable_filter.o ipt_conntrack.o iptable_filter.o
ip_conntrack.o ipt_mac.o iptable_mangle.o
cc_2:/# insmod
/lib/modules/2.4.29-vesuvio/kernel/net/ipv4/netfilter/
I guess that there is no portmap deamon module in
my system. How can I get portmap module (Do you have
it for downloading it)? How can I run portmap module
in my system in case I have it.
