Hi List,
I got my net 5501 a few weeks ago and my systems freezes
In random intervals, sometimes it keeps going for a few days
In a row, than it freezes twice a day.
-System : Openwrt / Linux 2.6.22
-Changed the components to fix the clock issue
-latest bios
-additional hardware:
Isdn bri card / pci
ISDN bri usb
Selfpowered USB-hub
Acer Bluetooth dongle
Atheros minipci Card
512MB CF-Card
These are the things I tried so far:
-changed power supply from 9V/1A to 12V/2A
-unplugging most of the hardware
-running the system at 100% cpu in hope of triggering a crash
Btw freeze means:
-System hangs
-no error output on serial (no kernel oops etc.)
-Watchdog is not resetting the system (linux softdog)
If any of You has a suggestion or has similar problems ..
I'm open for any suggestions.
Has anyone been able to use the hardware watchdog on a Linux System?
