I have been testing whats in the RELENG_7 tree (with the fixes by
Pyun YongHyeon that are in there) and they seem to work fine in the
lab. I used to be able to wedge the NIC by doing a shut on the cisco
switch the NIC was connected to, but RELENG_7 looks to be ok where as
whats in RELENG_6 would stall out. On a couple of boxes in the
field, I have to up/down the NIC which then triggers a "kernel: vr3:
Using force reset command" to recover the connection to boxes on a xover cable.

I have been using these changes in the field and they have been
working great on RELENG_6!
