Unfortunately I haven't used the 4801 before, so I don't know about it's network throughput. But what about another test: - disable PF - create a simple bridge between the Ethernet ports and repeat the throughput test This way you can find out if the Ethernet driver limits the 4801 or the TCP/IP stack and/or PF.
