I installed a generic FreeBSD 7.0 on a CF card following the
instructions at
<http://typo.submonkey.net/articles/2006/04/13/installing-freebsd-on-usb-stick-episode-2>.

I had to modify the instructions for what to put in /etc/fstab, but
it now boots well.

dmesg -a gives a few messages I'm not completely comfortable with:

     [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC
module_register: module g_label already exists!
Module g_label failed to register: 17

Are those last two important?

. . .
hptrr: HPT RocketRAID controller driver v1.1 (Feb 24 2008 19:59:27)
. . .
hptrr: no controller detected.
. . .

I assume the first is because the RAID controller was built into
GENERIC, and the second is because the Soekris box doesn't have one.
Correct?
