Before going backward to the old firmware release I would suggest trying comBIOS 1.33 or, at least, 1.32i (both available for the net45xx series too). comBIOS 1.32 has some known problems fixed in recent releases. If it does not work either, I suppose that Søren Kristensen will be interested in looking at this compatibility problem. As a workaround, I would recommend downgrading comBIOS to the most recent release that works with the microdrive instead of the one that comes with the net4521. As you say, it is a six years old comBIOS release! Perhaps the network booting problem is not related with a bug in the comBIOS. Cheers, Igor.
