Hi, The Network LED's on the front of my Soekris net5501 die down whenever the network (WAN/LAN) traffic is more than 250-300 KB/s.
When no or very little network traffic appears they (in my case, WAN (E0) and LAN (E1) Status LED's) are always on and then they twinkle on rapidly up to 200-250 KB/s.
