I have a Net4501 board running the most recent version (i.e. 1.0b5) of
Pyramid Linux and I'm getting low throughput (< 13Mbps) through the wireless
interface. The same exact hardware setup I am using (i.e. the 4501 board,
Radio Card, etc.) has been tested with other router software and I have no
problem getting throughput in excess of 16 Mbps, so I know the hardware is
good.

I have setup Pyramid Linux in both a router configuration and bridge and
there is no difference in the throughput. I have forced the rate to 54M,
which made no difference and also have tried all of the 802.11a channels and
802.11g channels just to make sure I didn't have an interference problem.

I read one posting
(http://dl.metrix.net/pipermail/pyramid-linux/2007-January/000151.html)
where another person was having this same problem and Metrix supposedly
fixed it by modifying the kernel config file which I assumed was in the
latest release. I'm not sure how to even check this.

Any ideas what might be causing this low throughput?
