I use "standard" Hitachi drives in all my Soekrisses and i have never 
experienced problems with any of them running 24/7. Also i don't believe 
in this 24/7 and non-24/7 rated drive stuff, other than some older 3.5" 
IBM drives i've never seen drives prematurely die while being used "out 
of spec" 24/7. If it's half the price we're talking about i'd safe 
myself the money, but that's just me..
