I see. I am looking at the Soekris Support page again today and I count 12 articles on setting up an OS on a Soekris box. Of these, 6 refer to some flavor of FreeBSD. I initially liked this because I am comfortable with FreeBSD. Now it looks as if I should look for some other OS.
My objective is to set up network sniffers which use Wireshark to trace a mirrored port on a switch. Just CLI. Can anyone suggest a BSD or Linux that I CAN get set up on these Soekris boxes? They have 64K and 512M cards. Deadline is looming. Geert Jan de Groot-3 wrote: > > On Wed, 6 Aug 2008 22:20:41 +0000 (UTC) "Bjoern A.
