Gregory, I've not had a chance to investigate this myself, but I too have seen spontaneous reboots with high traffic through my net4801. My 4801 is running OpenBSD 4.2, built using flashdist. I've got a similar network setup to you. Attempting to scp a gzipped tarball from a machine on my DMZ to a machine on my internal network through the net4801 causes the net4801 to reboot. The amount of data copied varies each time, but a reboot is guaranteed. I'm running a dual-stack IPv4/v6 network, but using v4 or v6 makes no difference to the outcome.
