My CF card will be mounted read only, so no writing at all will be going on. The reason I wanted SanDisk is cause everyone seems to be having success with these. Maybe I will look into some other brands. Kingston is very well represented here in Thailand, but I think, I remember some thread about those. Another issue is the huge quantity of Chinese fake products here. I don't plan on having any hard disks installed in any of my boxes.
