Has anyone heard anything this week from Soekris about the 5501s ? An
order from a few weeks ago had 2 boards that still had cold boot
issues. I went through the RMA process and 2 were sent to me very
quickly. However, of the 2, one was DOA and the second had the same
boot issues as the boards I wanted to RMA. By boot issues I mean it
wont boot up with a cold start-- you need to do a quick 1 second
power cycle to get it to post. After those 2 boards, I was told last
week a new batch from manufacturing was coming on ~ the 24th and I
would be contacted when the units would go out... However, no email
no phone call and I called today and only Heather was there who didnt
have any information.
Does anyone know what the status is of the 5501s ? I am getting a
little bit concerned. Soekris hardware has been good to us over the
years, and I dont want to abandon the platform. But I am feeling a
little bit abandoned by Soekris.
