I have run several boxes at temperatures exceeding 60 deg C, and a couple have reported CPU temps of 75 deg C, with no visible performance or functionality issues. These are seldom if ever shut down. I can't imagine that running them in this environment doesn't affect them, and I assume that the system life will be substantially less than a system run at room tmperature.
So, 85 deg F seems like a cakewalk. I have another box (albeit a 4801) that has run continuously, except for the occasioanl power outage, for over 3 years at temps between 55F and 100F.
