For us, we have been using their gear for many years with VERY good
results. Out of those many years, we saw a couple of months of
hardware problems with the 5501, which now appear fixed and which
they are standing behind and allowing you to RMA any impacted
devices. With some of our other embedded vendors, we see far worse
failure rates and no such return policy. You are not going to find a
vendor who has never had problems-- they all will at some time. The
question is how do they handle those problems and how long does it
take them to fix the issue.

Which ones ? The 5501s work well with FreeBSD, Linux, NetBSD, OpenBSD.

I am not a huge embedded user (PCEngines, commell, AxiomTek) and I
havent see those features in any of the boards I use. But then again,
I generally never have to remotely interact with the BIOS.
