Tim, I'd get a PCI to miniPCI adapter, and a decent miniPCI WLAN card. I currently use a Wistron CM9.

There are other cards on that site too, including those designed for the MikroTik RouterBoards: http://linitx.com/viewproduct.php?prodid=11919 You'll also need an antenna of some sort. I'd definitely recommend this route if you're not on a very tight budget, as Netgear, D-Link, Linksys and the like often change the chipset in their cards without notice and you can never tell exactly what quality the cards are until you try them...
