It looks like the Net5501 does not recognize the 4GB Kingston Elite Pro
133X compact flash. Smaller Kingstons and other brands of the same size
work.

On both the Net4801 and the Net5501, I've been able to *install* OpenBSD
4.4-stable on both a Kingston Elite Pro 133X 4GB CF and a SandDisk
Extreme 4GB (30mMB/s) CF.  However, only the SanDisk boots.

Smaller (1 GB) Kingston CFs both install and boot, apparently just not
the 4GB Kingston.

I've already installed comBIOS ver. 1.33c 20080626.  What next?
