We (AstLinux project) recently implemented a warmboot (kexec) feature
and appears to work well for various platforms, except for the net5501.
There is no problem booting otherwise. Some facts...
net5501, BIOS 1.33 and 1.33c
Sandisk CF card, no other drives, default BIOS settings
Linux kernel version: 2.6.26.8
The kexec -e starts fine, but comes to this point...

A similar setup with Linux kernel version: 2.6.20.21, works properly.
