No, there will be no new Geodes, the architecture is running out of life.... But the Geode LX used on the net5501 are going to be available until at least 2016, according to AMD docs. And I am working on new boards, had actually started on a VIA C7M/Nano/VX800 board design, but then the communication with VIA died up, zip, nada, like emailing into a black hole.... Can't design a product on that, what if I run into a chip bug ? They don't seems interested in the smaller guys. I'm now looking a other options from AMD and Intel, have great communication and NDA access with both, and those new netbook/nettop parts are just perfect for the net6501.... I regularly take a round looking at ARM, MIPS, SH, PowerPC and whatever come around, but they just don't have the broad support and top to bottom range of parts like the x86....
