Hi guys,

This issue is solved. :)

The reason for the low hard-disk performance come from the "ide-generic"
module. After delete "ide-generic" module in /etc/initramfs-tools/modules, then
update the initramfs with "update-initramfs -u", at last modify the
/boot/grub/menu.lst (without ide-generic module, the hard-disk is "/dev/sda"),
and the performance has come back. :) Currently, the hdparm -t result is around
50MB in this 5501 system.

Thank you so much for your help in solving this issue.

Regards,
Adonis
