It works great. The hardest part was wading through all the forum posts on how to partition it properly to get everything on the right boundary. I still don't know if I did it right, but I figure it doesn't really matter since the SSD outpaces the network interface and this is a network appliance afterall. For me the key reasons for getting an SSD was no noise, low heat, and no moving parts.
