I run a net5501 as a PBX and wireless AP (and a lot more - see
http://menhennitt.com.au). However, all phones on the PBX are IP phones
or connected via ATAs, so I can't comment on the TDM400 card.

I use a CM9 card and have been having some problems (see
http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg105623.html).
Whether this is due to hardware faults, the speed of the net5501, or
FreeBSD, I don't know.

For the antenna, you need to drill a hole in the back of the case and
run a pigtail to an external antenna. In Australia,
http://yawarra.com.au supplied me with all the bits - I'm sure you can
find an equivalent local supplier.
