Hi, Thanks for your quick reply! I have tried to upgrade the BIOS, but I don't think my KeySpan is playing nicely. I'll try on a computer with a proper serial port tomorrow, but I've not seen anything to explicitly suggest 1.33c fixes this issue - have you seen this problem yourself?
I should add that if there is no sata drive attached, and flash=secondary is set linux/grub etc all see the CF card as the primary master, which seems odd.
