Ralph: I actually feared this to be the case already and prepared to 
order a pair of 4501s.

That said, the thread about NTP stuff was relatively recent.  Did anyone 
build any high-accuracy NTP servers out of later model Soekris hardware, 
and how?  I'd like to make our remote NTP servers as accurate as humanly 
possible, as the networks are pretty far apart and the NTP time is going 
to be used to tune log servers.
