I had 2 Soekris boxes in production. A 4801 running fine. A 4501 running fine until it suddently stopped. NO longer able to ping it. Disconnected it from the network. And checked it via the serial -> nothing. Removed the CF card and it does its normal boot. Insert the CF again, nothing on the serial. So I guess it's the CF. Take another CF, install mono on it and insert that in that box, boot it and it does a normal boot but instead of booting the CF it loops POST 12345... Take a spare 4501 box, this one seems to start it's power-on-diag, however at the memory count it stops at 0.
Am I having several boxes fail at the same time or something wrong in the my serial (hyperterminal) settings so that I don't see what is realy happening?
