Hello,
I am not 100% sure, and I don't see this problem related to net5501
specifically.

However I saw an huge lot of "shared IRQ problems" with multiple-NIC cards,
happening with recent Linux kernels.

In my scenario, this is related to the kernel conf.

It should go away by enabling:
Bus options --> Message Signaled Interrupts (MSI and MSI-X)
... then rebuild the kernel.

Hope this nails the problem.
