Dear list members,

I am posting my kernel stuff of Linux kernel 2.6.39 which I am running smoothly
on my net6501 since October 9. It was modified from the original Debian 2.6.39
kernel (unfortunately it seems to have been replaced by some 3.0.? kernel now,
so I am including my source).

I made some changes to that kernel (ignore the wrong BIOS checksum in shipping
BIOS 1.40, SDHCI length to prevent warning because of too big memory mapped I/O
region, 1000 Hz ticks, many unavailable devices disabled to keep compile times
shorter, memory configuration 1 GB max, no Himem) - but it runs fine with
serial console and everything on board the net6501).

Feel free to download them here and modify them to your needs:

.config file used to compile the kernel:
http://www.lavalite.de/soekris/config-2.6.39-kic-1000-1gb-bioschecksum-sdhcipci-small

resulting Debian kernel package:

modules, initrd, vmlinuz, config in a tar file to extract from / (for
non-Debian linux):
http://www.lavalite.de/soekris/soekris-2.6.39-binary.tar.gz

sources with config file:

Hope it helps some of you.

Cheers,
Torben
