Sorry to go off-topic, but I recall some discussion of 3G/UMTS PCI Express
cards here a while back...

I've been testing some Novatel EU850D PCI Express cards in 3G/Ethernet
routers using pfSense (in Alix 6F2 systems as it happens). The card works,
but the EU850D does not support HSUPA (high speed uplink), so you only get
384 kbps upload speed. This is annoying because the Three network here in
the UK appears to support uploads of around 2 megabits with other hardware.

Can anyone recommend a PCI Express UMTS card that does HSUPA as well as
HSDPA? For my project, I would need an external antenna connector, and
ideally an internal SIM card slot (so that it will work in a system like
the NET6501 without a SIM card slot on the motherboard).

Thanks!

- Martin
