I recently hookup up the second serial port (COM2, ttyS1) on a net5501,
and discovered a very strange problem. It seems to run at half speed,
e.g. I have to set it to 38400 baud in order to operate at 19200 baud.
The console port (COM1, ttyS0) works normally.

This is using Debian squeeze with a 3.2 kernel.

It is not a problem for me, since the speed I need to use can be
doubled. But I am curious. Is this a known problem? Does anyone have
any idea what is going on?

Cheers,
Lon
