Why not use one of the mini-ITX solutions based on AMD E-350 APU or
Intel Atom?   Most of them have multiple video outputs (VGA/DVI/HDMI).
  Put the board + 2.5" hdd into a small cabinet. and you have a more
flexible solution.  While the form factor may not be as small as the
Soekris boxes, they are portable.

IMO, it will be a cheaper solution with more flexibility.
