If it has a PCI port you can get PCI GbE Nics, but you won't be happy with the performance. The most I've ever gotten out of a PCI GbE nic was 60MB/s I think. And that was on a machine with more "beef" than the 5501. IT /may/ have been that I was just using a cheap nic. Entirely possible.
