Hi All,
The boot problems with the 6501's got be thinking about possible workarounds.
For linux users i came across kexec. Kexec is a method which allows a running
kernel to load a new kernel and start that. This effectively reboots the
machine without going through bios/uefti, shortening boot times, which seems to
be the original goal of kexec.Since the risk of dying 6501's is in actually
rebooting it i thought it might be helpful here too. Does anyone have any
experiences to share ?Kexec is new to me, so i'll start experimenting with it
on my desktop, and if it works i'll give it a try on my soekris 6501.
More info on

Best regards,Wesley
